In a shocking turn of events, an 18-year-old hip-hop artist, known as HopOutBlick, has found himself entangled in a serious legal controversy. Born as Kyzir Reeves in 2005 in the tumultuous Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, HopOutBlick has quickly risen to prominence in the Philly Hip-Hop scene. However, the promising career of this young artist has taken a dark and troubling trajectory.

The narrative unfolds with HopOutBlick’s involvement in a tragic incident on April 28, 2023, where he and a close associate, Doe Boy, orchestrated a robbery during a gun transaction. The ill-fated plan went awry as the prospective buyers drew their weapons, resulting in a chaotic exchange of gunfire that claimed the lives of three individuals, including a 14-year-old teenager. This shocking turn of events has led to HopOutBlick’s arrest on charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery, and illegal gun possession.

What adds a surreal twist to this unsettling tale is HopOutBlick’s response to the incident. Rather than laying low, he boldly channeled his experiences into a song titled “Took a Risk,” where he openly confronts and reflects on the shooting episode. The lyrics vividly describe the tragic consequences, with lines like “Saalah felt it on his chest then he started spittin’ up” and “Leeky got left on the sidewalk, he ain’t gettin’ up.” The song, a stark reflection of the artist’s turbulent reality, adds an unprecedented layer to the controversy surrounding his actions.

We got two new vics, we called ’em Double L for ‘Laah and Leeky

Nigga, we throw L’s down for them, them L’s up for Leafy

Saalah shoulda shot his gun but he ain’t get to squeezin’

And Leaky just was in the way so they left him leakin’

We shoulda know Chill was gon’ tell ’cause he was fuckin’ screamin’

But you woulda thought that nigga died the way that he was bleedin’

The nigga said somethin’ about my twin then say he don’t mean it

He said he wanted to die, granted his wish like I’m a fuckin’ genie

The verse from his Song” Took a Risk”

Following the events, HopOut Blick was apprehended on September 6, 2023, in Germantown by the Marshals. Currently, he is detained at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia without the option of bail.
